KATELYN + TROY never let a little bit of chilly, December drizzle cramp their style.
They had the perfect response: just turn up the playlist, pop open a few beers, pour a few mimosas and enjoy the morning getting ready and hanging out together, warm and dry, inside The Blackwell hotel on the campus of The Ohio State University.
In the afternoon, they held their Greek ceremony, surrounded by stunning vaulted ceilings and intricate gilded murals, at the The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. It was definitely a unique ceremony for us, and a beautiful incorporation of tradition, close family and strong faith.
Still battling the rain, but still with AMAZING attitudes, they followed us outside after the ceremony and we had a blast shooting with the whole party! Katelyn + Troy distracted everyone from the cold by being so sweet together, as they stole a few moments for photos of just the two of them, before heading to their reception.
At the end of the day, we know we would have tried our best, but it couldn’t have been nearly as wonderful or as enjoyable a day without the ever amazing and ever positive Katelyn + Troy, and their band of fantastic friends and family! This group was so welcoming and fun, their personalities were incredibly infectious and they knew how to have a good time!
