We told you that rain makes for some of the best stories! It also makes some of the best opportunities for your people to step up and love you!!

M+S’s Story: It rained all morning and it was looking like that would continue through the afternoon ceremony time. They made the tough decision to call it and move things inside. All was set and beautiful, in the Racing Room!

BUT, 20 minutes before ceremony time, with dozens of guests already filing in, the rain fully stopped! The forecast gave us a clear window!

ALL of us knew that it was the dream, for M+S to get married outside. If there was a chance, we had to take it!!

We started asking the questions — “How possible would it be to move everything back outside?” It’s crazy, but POSSIBLE! 😂 “M+S, if this can happen, is this what you want??” YES?? OKAY!!

Word spread. Staff, friends & family jumped in, like it was our life’s mission! 😂 In minutes, all the rain was dried from the hundred+ chairs, all the flowers were transported and reset, the DJ finagled his sound setup, and all the guests took their places on the terrace!

We love it when a plan comes together!! 🥰

Icing on the cake was when M+S made it back down the aisle, we heard S burst out to M, “WE GOT OUR OUTDOOR CEREMONY!!”

We get to work for and with the world’s BEST people! Stuff like this is the whole point. 🖤

Rain happens. If you love where you are and who you’re with, sunshine shows up in a million other ways! Sometimes, the sun eventually shows up, in the literal sense, too! ☺️

@bluewaterkingsband played the first few notes, and it was instant mayhem on the dance floor!

It was so good that there were boos from the crowd, when the song ended and the band tried to move on, in their set list 😂

So what else can you do? They played it again! 🪩💃
