When you have two best friends in love, who’ve waited as long as these two high school sweethearts have, to be officially together forever… a little rain just ADDS to the memories, makes it even MORE romantic, and offers ANOTHER welcome excuse to get a little cozier, under that umbrella! 😉🖤

They’re the ones who have been just as excited for this day to get here, as you have! They’re the ones keeping you sane. They’re the ones taking care of all the little stuff, behind the scenes, and not letting it fall to you. They’re the ones standing in the wings, just out of frame, yelling out little things to make you laugh, and hyping you up! They’re the ones who want this day to be perfect for you, even more than YOU do! They’re the ones who are lucky enough to get to know and love you, long before and long after this day!

On your biggest day, these are the people you carved out special time for. They’re the ones you couldn’t imagine this all happening without. 🖤

It’s almost the end of their ceremony, in this beautiful little neighborhood park, in German Village, and one singular HUGE drop of rain hits Mike’s (the groom’s) suit jacket.

You can see it on their faces; they know what’s coming! Family and friends have their thumbs on the trigger buttons, ready to pop up those umbrellas and jump into position!

Shea + Mike say “I do!” and the sky, that was just bright blue minutes ago, opens up and dumps days of water, in the craziest flash storm we’ve ever seen!

The Kitchen, where they’re hosting the rest of their night, is right down the street! Some guests run for whatever cover they can find, and some make a mad dash for cars, or just run down the street to the venue!

A testament to Shea + Mike and the company they keep: in all the chaos, the mood never changed! This was never a disaster, this was a REALLY GREAT STORY! 😂

This is day is burned into everyone’s memories! The photos are just for fun, because this will truly be impossible to forget!
