Adora + Yemi had the most perfect wedding day! When we think about their day, what comes to mind is just overwhelming joy and pride. It was one of the most personal and meaningful wedding days we’ve had the privilege to witness. Adora + Yemi are beautiful, elegant, cool, accomplished, and wonderful people, with deep pride in and connection to their families, friends, and roots. Their day reflected exactly that! This was truly an event; a celebration from the very beginning!
Adora + Yemi began their day, surrounded by people who’ve been important to them, through many adventures of their lives! Yemi chose to spend his morning at the chic Hotel LeVeque, in Downtown Columbus, which fit his vibe like it was built for him! Adora chose the beautiful home of her close family friend and mentor, where she loved the art and memories. When Yemi arrived at the home, to see Adora for the first time and to escort her to their ceremony, it was one of the simplest and sweetest first looks, while also being one of the most elegant and stunning. I mean, just look at them together!!
Their ceremony was precious and intimate, performed by a good friend as their officiant, with handwritten vows that they read, to one another.
The Columbus Metropolitan Library was another important stop for us to make. Adora spent countless hours there, studying, as a student. It happens to be a gorgeous place on its own, too, but it was even more special, knowing that it was such an important anchor, in her story!
Nothing left to do but have a party, Adora + Yemi pulled up, in their classic Bentley, to a crowd of adoring friends and family, for their grand entrance! The song for their first dance was beautifully performed by Adora’s brother. (Yes, we cried.) And, from there, the celebration, toasts, music, dancing, games and stunning expressions of Nigerian culture, didn’t stop for the rest of the night! This was a party you wanted to be at, and no one wanted to leave!

You’re such incredible people, and we became more and more sure of that, the longer we spent with you, and the more we heard from your friends and families! Thank you for being SO much fun and kind, and so open to let us into your lives and story! We’re so grateful to know you!
